Lake Hosts Rocky Mountain Field Seminars in 2011 |
|
For a complete catalog of Field Seminars log on to the Rocky
Mountain Nature Association web site at
www.rmna.org
and click on "field seminars".
The field seminar program began in Estes Park, CO. in 1962
with Rocky Mountain National Park serving as a college on the crest
of the continent. Indoor lectures compliment outdoor field trips led
by some on the finest instructors available in their fields of
expertise.
Classes are organized around natural history, cultural history, and
the arts providing educational experiences for participants at many
levels. Academic credit is available for all seminars, however many
participants come just for the enrichment, knowledge, and enthusiasm
of being involved in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Seminars will commence from the Kawuneeche Visitor Center,
RMNP and various locations around Grand Lake from June to
October.
Kawuneeche Visitor Center is in
Rocky Mountain National Park near Grand Lake.
